Great opportunities are rare and they are NEVER lost, they just go to someone else.

Dreaming is easy

Dreaming is easy. Wanting to be a successful doctor or sharp-witted
lawyer requires no effort at all. Actually being one is a totally
different story. Why? Because things are always “easier said than
done”. However, this should not stop you from believing in your dreams
and pursuing them, in spite of how hard things may be at times.

It’s through proper focus and concentration that you will be able to
achieve your dreams and reach your goals. Aside from developing focus
and determination, you should also have a deep sense of passion in
order to fuel your desire to a successful life.

Your drive to achieve something will help you develop a certain
amount of focus to attain your set goals. Here are some tips to help
you keep your focus on the things that you want to achieve. Write down
your goals – It never hurts to be organized with things. Sure, your
ultimate goal may be to become a successful doctor or to start your own
hospital; but that’s way getting ahead of yourself. Just think that if
you’re only in high school now, you still have a long, long, long way
to go before all of that becomes a reality.

Therefore, it’s better to jot down the things that you want to
achieve so that you’ll not get lost in the way. You may start by
getting into a good pre-med school, then focus on that initially. You
might want to add in your list that you want a good scholarship and
internship. Just make sure that they are doable.

Do not take on several things that you can’t really juggle at the
same time; or else, you might not be able to accomplish anything at
all. This brings us to the next step in developing proper focus and
concentration - prioritize. Listing down your goals is easy, but
learning how to prioritize is something that calls for a great deal of
responsibility.

Not only will this be able to help you balance your time, it will
also help you gain more focus on the things that you want to achieve –
just one step at a time. Sounds simple? Well it may actually be, if you
really put your heart into it. Passion and determination is essential
to help you gain focus on things that you want to do.

It would definitely help you on your way to the top. When you’re not
passionate about something, it’s impossible for you to overcome
hardships and obstacles that you might encounter along the way.

Have you heard of the "Rules of Being Human?"

They are rules handed down (so it has been said) from ancient Sanskirt.  Personally I don’t care where they came from, I just know they are great rules to follow to live an empowered life.

I have taken these rules and added a modern day adaptation to them! Feel free to download and pass it on! Also feel free to leave any comments or messages.

Here’s Something I Always Knew About Me

Discovering Greatness No Comments »

I am not motivated by money!  Now money is a very important ingredient that adds spice to life but it isn’t what motivates me to do what I do.  The gap between my last post and this one is evidence of that.  I have always been motivated by my ability to just blog and have fun.  But I decided to change my blog to focus on the work that I do and I wasn’t happy.

Not least of all because helping people to make money online is not really something I am passionate about.  I love helping people, but I love helping people change the way they think and overcome their limits.  Over the past 8 months I had become unfocused as my work delved into places I have no business being in!  But the universe always has a way of shutting this down when it does not serve my higher purpose.

So here I am, after 7 months of work, back at square one and ready to re-commit to life and what I love - personal development.  No more making money online, no more internet marketing.  I will focus on supporting women to overcome their limits through my coaching business.

The vision I was given was to continue with Inspirational Guidance but develop it so that it becomes an online membership club for women with vision.  Something that will support women in staying on target and focusing on "what’s next"

So I have been busy doing that, and recognising just how much I love to make a difference.
My journey towards making my first million is still very much top priority for me, and I will make that money whilst transforming the lives of women around the world.

Much more rewarding. So it would seem……….. the true me is back!

I have been busy putting together a course that will be free to anyone who is looking at wanting to set up a successful home business and as I typed the finishing lesson a realisation hit me.

This is what I typed:

"When I discovered that my purpose in life is "Discovering Greatness" it
was one of the biggest influences on helping me to focus on what I
wanted to do with my future. I already knew that "unstoppable passion
and support" was what I wanted to provide people with, but the
realisation that "Discovering Greatness" in myself and others was
something I was good at put me on a firm path to success based upon
something I am passionate about. I encourage you to find what you are
passionate about and how you can work with that to create your online
business. It never seems like work when you are having fun!"

That paragraph came out of me without thinking about it! And it was only as I typed that I realised what a profound effect that discover my N-Code has had on me.

Its a great feeling that I am experiencing right now as I type this, one of knowing, its like I know now where I am heading and what God wants me to do. And I give thanks for that.

Discovering Greatness in my business

My mentor tells me I need to learn to focus and he is right! I am distracted way too easily! I turned on my computer to start recording audios for my new online site "getting more confident" and a quick conversation has me here at my blog typing up something I must get out of my head so it will leave me in peace!

At least I know who is boss! When my unconcious mind decides it wants to share something it will not leave my head until I get it down on paper. Anyway, back to the point……….

I was asked this morning how being conciously aware of Discovering Greatness had impacted my business, and my first thought was, well I am my business (only because I run my business, I realise on a deeper level that I am NOT my business, or my body, or my gender etc etc….!)

My business and I are not separate, everything I do in my business is a reflection of my values and beliefs.

What I find is that who I am in my personal life will also be the same in my professional life. Let me explain! If I had an issue with saying no to people then this would not only happen in my personal life,(e.g. not being able to say no to family), but it will also happen in my work life, (e.g. not being able to say no to my boss.)

Everything I have talked about as it relates to Discovering Greatness in my personal life also relates to my professional life too. So my post about "Greatness in the face of fear" relates to my professional life because I work with communities within inner city areas where money is tight and survival is the need that many aim to fulfil. So to walk into a room full of people from a community estate and tell them that they create their own reality through their thoughts requires some level of discovering greatness in myself!!!

Also my work with young people centres around developing their sense of SELF, raising their confidence and building their aspirational beliefs in their ability to achieve.

Now my angle with parents is "Raise your confidence and you will produce confident children". So when I talk to parents I say "if your child has no confidence it is because you have none and you need to look towards transforming that so that your child can grow up with a high level of self-worth, because children learn all they know from the adults in their life"

Now the interpretation of that is "if your child has no confidence it is because you dont and so it is your fault". Which is absolutely what I am saying, just not in that way :-) I then need to have the "blame" conversation and what a waste of energy it is. I reinforce the "facts"! This is how it is, sort it, or don’t the choice is yours!

I can only talk this way because I discover greatness in people, the difference is, now that I am conciously aware of me discovering my own greatness I can now stand in front of that crowd and realise that whether people agree or not does not have to affect how great I feel about myself.

Audience reaction will usually perk and motivate me, or leave me feeling drained. It no longer has to have that effect. As I stand there discovering my greatness and the greatness of those in the room my way of "being" changes, I no longer have to defend my position, I can look at all those who go on the defensive as having greatness within them and support them in recognising that rather than defend myself against what they have just said.

So discovering greatness is more about a way of "being" for me. Who am I "being" when I stand in front of a room full of people. I now realise that I have been wanting to be right and defensive. I am happy when my audience is, and drained when my audience is not.

Contrast that to just opening myself up to "being" greatness and the empahsis shifts from having to "do" loads of stuff  (defend, be right etc) to just focusing on being passionate about something I believe in. The development of young women into confident beings full of self-worth.

Now that is a profound paradigm shift for me! Now back to my audios……..

Greatness in the face of fear!

If there is one thing I can’t stand it’s people who shout!

I mean is there really a need for it? And in helping me to Discover my Greatness is it productive and supportive.

Well yes actually it is…..!!!

Another ahh moment! Discovering greatness is not just about people telling me how wonderful I am (which I always appreciate of course :0) )

Discovering my greatness is about being face to face with someone who is angry and spitting fire, and being able to see the greatness in them. Not the annoyed adult hurling abuse at me, but the wonderful spirit that lives within them.

So the way I discover my greatness is to stand in front of a room full of negative people and dare to stand up and be great!!!!

Will let you know when that one goes down :0)

Discovering greatness

A few weeks ago I went through a process that brought out in me an energy that I have lived from my whole life.

It was the energy of Discovering Greatness.

I discover greatness in others but discovered that I don’t always allow people to discover it in me which was a bit of a shock!

I was doing the typical give, give, give thing without receiving.  Only I didn’t realise until that moment I wasn’t receiving.

So now I am on a mission to discover greatness in every one I meet. And I mean everyone…. even those people shouting and swearing at me in the car for not going fast enough! Bless them :0)

I decided to include this as a post in it’s own right because alot has happened since this two hour process and I want to record as much of it as possible.

Why? Well firstly because then you can see that even life coaches go through their own transformation, and yes, even after years of working on myself!

The main difference I have with my clients is I have walked alot further up the path than they have and now I am getting into the real deep stuff!!!

This time next year I should be ready to be buddha! :0)

(only kidding - I mean what kind of buddha wears Gucci!)

Discovering Greatness

I recently went through an amazing 2 hour process called the N-Code™ that brought to my concious awareness something I have been doing my whole life.

Discovering Greatness

I not only discover greatness in others, but it is imperative that greatness is discovered in me by others and the biggest revelation throughout the whole process is I had not allowed the second part of this equation to take place.

So I had been giving without accepting - which of course always causes an imbalance.

I have made up for it in the last week though! And spent all weekend with a group of people who spent time discovery my greatness and acknowledging it. It actually felt quite great!

So I was asked to write a short piece about what having my N-Code™ means to be and this is what I came up with.

What the N-Code™ Means to Me

Discovering greatness

A chance to shine and develop myself and others

The opportunity to focus on a particular trait in my coaching

A revelation of what was before and what will be

The discovery of an energy that empowers

A creative journey into all it can mean

The opportunity to play small and hide

A chance to avoid and eat!

Another label like any other

A connection to something higher

A lifetime contribution acknowledged

A greatness that inspires
