When you set out to achieve a goal or make a change it is easy to keep it to yourself and not tell anyone. But it is far more powerful to tell someone your plans and ask them to hold you to account for what you get done. When you are running your own business it is important to know when you are on track and when you have left the track and are lagging well behind!

There is one way to ensure you are always on track and that is to use your emotions.  If you are feeling safe, doing what you have always done, not feeling any particular pressures (a little stress is always good for the soul, just not too much!) then chances are you may be stuck or not going far.

If you are excited, dreaming about your business/online business, and feeling FEAR then you are probably on track! Because the more you move towards creating a life of your dreams, the more you will have to tackle fear!

If you are used to being handed a monthly wage from your job, if you are used to being told what to do, when and how by your boss. If you went to work did your job and then came home again, chances are you became programmed. It all became a habit and eventually you slipped right in to automatic cruise and got on with it.

When you are running your own business or pursuing anything that requires you to put in the time and effort to ensure it succeeds, anything that you are personally responsible for then the bar has been raised.  You will either rise to the challenge or run back to being a wage slave at the first sign of trouble.

Everyone THINKS they want to build their own business and expand their income but not everyone is truly READY to give up the wage slave mentality and go for it.

Remember the limits you set yourself will let you know how you are doing in life. Are you feeling safe? Or are there elements of uncertainty and fear in your life that provide the adrenalin to move you forward?

Great income opportunities are rare and they are NEVER lost, they just go to someone else.

I love the fact that I have discovered ways to make money that use the power of leverage to provide me with an ongoing monthly income and recently a friend questioned my use of the word passive next to income.
